Author’s Notes: For 30_houshin. My portrayal of Usagi is how I imagine her matured. Established relationship fic. Born out of my love for Zuko after watching the events in AtLA: Episode 11. This is more like a snapshot into a future I dreamed up – so basically, it’s a plot bunny. The mention of surviving air nomads is completely my own plot device, and not an element from the show. This is intended to be a one-shot simply because I’d rather not attempt a multi-chaptered fic, knowing my track record with that. (I am, however, interested in visiting this universe again – perhaps digging deeper into all the questions I leave unanswered. If you like it, please leave a review because otherwise, how I supposed to know?) Besides, this was really a writing experiment that came out much longer than intended.
